UPDATE: We have a limited number of yearbooks! They are being sold in the school office, as well as in the library. Cost is $30.00. First come, first serve!

Announcing…Summer Reading Plans!
TIME: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon (Storytime will be at 11:00 a.m.)
DATES: Wednesdays in June – 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th Wednesdays in July – 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
THEME: You live…WHERE??? We’ll be taking a look at a different habitat each week.
FOR WHO? Anyone who will be a student at HPS when school starts, as well as students who completed second grade this school year.
BOOK CHECK OUT: Students will be allowed to check out up to ten books each week.
Mark your calendar, bring a book bag, and plan to join us!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Registration for kindergarten continues in the school office during school hours.
To enroll for kindergarten in the fall, students should be five years old on or before September 1, 2013. Please bring your child, his/her birth certificate, his/her social security card, and proof of residence.

FALL BOOKFAIR!

Our fall book fair was extremely successful! Your purchases assisted us in profiting over $1,800 for our library! During this time of proration when no state funds are given to replenish our inventory, this will greatly help us to purchase much needed books. We really appreciate your help. HPS SCHOOL TIMES
7:40 a.m. Busses Unload
7:40-7:55 a.m. Car riders unload (For drop-off and pick-up procedures, go to the “General Info” tab, “Student Handbook”, Item #20 “Pick-up and Drop-Off of Students”.)
(If your child eats breakfast at school, you need to arrive early enough to be in the first group to unload so that they will have time to pick up their breakfast and get to class.)
7:55 a.m. Classes begin (Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. are TARDY and must be accompanied to the office and signed in by the adult dropping them off at school.)
2:55 p.m. Parent Pick-up/Car Riders
3:05 p.m. Busses Load
3:15 p.m. Busses Depart
